Its been a while since I've updated this. College is so hectic. Completely different in both good and bad ways. I've rearranged my dorm and stuff and I like my new setup much better... I have a lot more privacy and its easier to get things done. And a note to any friends or family that may be reading this. I got a great picture of Ashley the other day.   | | |
| College is quite... interesting. I had a very busy freshmen week here at Truman State University. It was so busy because every night they had something that they thought that we HAD to go to. Anyway, actual classes started on Monday and its been OK, I did make a major mistake today though in reading my schedual. I missed a class... so anyway, I made the most humble sounding apology email I could muster, I haven't gotten a response from the professor yet. Here's hoping.
And now for the regular part of my weblog, "Something Nerdy"
I saw the US PIkmin 2 commercial the other day. It is so funny. I really felt like I got the escence of the game right away. And in other nerd stuff, I cannot wait until the Original Trilogy Star Wars comes out on DVD. It's gonna be great. | | |
| Boy, its been a while since I've done this. Oh well, busyness got me. Anyway in news from my life... I have one word: Diet...
Yeah, I've been put on a diet. And this first week is going to be torture... Its not going to get any easier to eat right in college... Everyone I know has at least put on a little weight when they've gone. Ah well, life goes on...
Anyway, Now for a walk on the nerdy side. I've been playing a lot of older games. Stuff like the Donkey Kong Country games and even "newer" old stuff like Luigi's Mansion. Pretty Fun Stuff. I have a special love for Donkey Kong Country 3 for some odd reason... It just seem slike the perfect mix of... everything.

| Isn't it strange, the way our minds work? How everything that we've ever done impacts our choices and decisions, likes and dislikes, loves and hatred... Sometimes I really wonder why I am the way I am... what makes me gravitate more toward nerdiness or the need to feel smart? What makes me not like little kids all that much? How much is related to what's happened to me and how much is simply what I've allowed myself to become? I'm feeling philosophical this morning.  I'll post other things this afternoon. | | |

We stayed up late watching movies and then talking about freaky stuff like the mafia and hired hit men and stuff... all just your average "lets freak myself out before i go to bed sort of stuff...
